Canyon of Anaheim girls blaze to 89:38 for a team-time course record, taking down the previous mark of 90:03 by the 1983 Tustin team. The group was led by Rebecca Garcia, who won the individual crown in 17:43.
The boys race had a thrilling finish as a Villa Park runner reported kicked past three Canyon runners in the last 200 meters to shuffle the team scores as Brea went on to nip Canyon by two points. The individual race winner was El Dorado's Tommie Poston in a time of 15:10!
