     The wealth of talent permeating the national distance scene is deeper than ever in 2004, with the girls' elite milers being twice as good as ever before and the boys two-mile talents among the best in the last 20 years! Here's your chance to showcase your expertise on the distance action, as you compare your forecasting skills with those all across the country. The contest winners will receive official 2004 adidas Outdoor Championships meet merchandise for their acumen! Enjoy the contests!

There are multiple heats of the girls' mile at the 2004 AOC.
Pick the six entrants from all heats that you think will run fastest.
Predict the order of the 6 finishers, from first through sixth.
Finally, predict your belief for the winning time.

You get one point for each correct pick that places within in the Top 6.
You get 3 points for correctly predicting any of your Top 3 as an official Top 3 placer.

Top point scorer wins the contest (adidas prize to be announced Thursday)!

You get one point for each correct pick that places within in the Top 6.
You get 3 points for correctly predicting any of your Top 3 as an official Top 3 placer.

Here's how it works:

Contest details:
1) Submit in order the names of six girls milers and/or 6 boys 2-milers (enter both contests and submit the 12 names) that you feel will finish in the top 6 places (official results only) in their respective event.
2) Predict the winning time in the event (or winning time in both events, if you are entering both contests).

How we determine the contest winner:
1) Each contest entrant receives one point for correctly identifying a Top 6 placer among their picks for that event.
2) Each contest entrant receives three points for correctly identifying any of your Topr 3 as an official Top3 placer..
3) The person scoring the most points wins the contest.
4) If a tie exists, the entry that correctly identifies the race winner is declared the contest winner.
5 ) If a tie still exists, the winner will be chosen from the entrant that comes closest to predicting the official winning time.

Rules:
1) Only one entry per person and only one entry per email address. Multiple entries from the same person or from the same email address will disqualify all entries from that person/email address.           
2)
Deadline to enter is 5 p.m. (EST) on Friday, June 18, 2004. No late entries accepted.     
3) Entry must include your first and last name. Entries without full names will not be considered.
4) DyeStatCal is not responsible for lost, delayed or misdirected emails, or website server problems.
5) DyeStatCal not responsible for entry changes such as no-show athletes, scratches, substitutions, etc.

Notification:
1) Winner's name will be posted on the DyeStat message board in the National Forum on Monday.
2) Winner will also be notified by email at that time. Winner is responsible for checking his/her email.          
3) Winner must claim prize by responding within 72 hours, or prize is forfeited.  
4) In the case that the prize is forfeited, the runner-up entry will be eligible for prize consideration.
