Words Of Encouragement For U.S. Relay Pool Sprinter Tamari Davis With the Paris Olympic Games underway we connected with the loved ones of Olympic athletes. This one comes from the family of United States relay pool member Tamari Davis, a Florida native, who is making her Olympics debut with a chance to run on the 4x100 relay team. She was fourth in the U.S. Trials 100 meters final. Dear Tamari, We are so Proud of our Olympian Tamari Davis!!!! We are the family of Tamari and are so very proud of her accomplishments and being a part of Team USA at the Paris Olympics 2024. Tamari has always exemplified a strong will, determination and perseverance, which has assisted her with achieving her goals and dreams in Track and Field. Tamari signed a professional contract with adidas at the age of 16. There are so many priceless special moments that we have witnessed and celebrated with her. Tamari became a well-respected athlete at the early age of 6 years old, and the journey has been unforgettable from the preparations for local track meets all the way to the Jr. Olympics every year until her elevated level as a professional track athlete. Tamari broke multiple age division records and won championships from Youth to High School. Tamari's recent accomplishments are so exciting and extraordinary. Tamari successfully Joined Team USA for the World Championships in 2023 by placing third in the 100 meters at the USATF National Championships. Tamari was a part of the Gold medal-winning 4x100 team in Budapest, Hungary and was part of the gold medal-winning USA 4x100 team in Nassau, Bahamas at the World Athletics Relay Championships. Most recently, Tamari advanced to the finals and finished fourth in the 100 meters at the USATF Olympic Trials in Eugene, Oregon and set a personal best in the 200, while advancing to the finals in that event as well. Tamari received her invitation to join Team USA in the 4x100 relay pool for the Paris Olympics. She has always been a hard worker, goal oriented, motivated, and focused, which are attributes to be a great competitor.
We will be watching from Tamari's hometown of Gainesville, Florida with family and friends; we all will be cheering louder than all the marching bands in the world.
