Here is a sneak-peak look at preseason cross country rankings, based on the number of returners from last year's top-finishing teams and strong distance performances during the track season. 

Keep an eye out for the region-by-region preseason rankings roll-out on DyeStat in early September. 

Top 10  

1 - Christ School NC - The Greenies bring back the deepest roster in the country from seventh-place team.

2 - Southlake Carroll TX - Perennial power still has solid core despite graduation of Caden Leonard.

3 - American Fork UT - Four of the top five return from last year's fifth-place team.

4 - Coeur d'Alene ID - Motivated group that fell ill at NXR should be ready to go.

5 - Belen Jesuit FL - Marcelo Mantecon leads another deep team from Miami.

6 - Crater OR - Talented young group added a key transfer from Nevada. 

7 - Niwot CO - Two-time defending champions return two potential low sticks.

8 - Summit OR - Everyone is back from Northwest fifth-place team.

9 - Campolindo CA - Perhaps the deepest team right now in California.

10 - Lincoln OR - Five return from last year's 20th-place team.
