Former USC standout Michael Norman, who turned professional following his sophomore year, became the first Trojans' athlete to be honored with the Bowerman Award at the 10th annual ceremony Thursday in San Antonio, Texas. Norman is also the first athlete to earn the Gatorade National Male Track and Field Athlete of the Year in high school during his career at Vista Murrieta, along with the Bowerman in college.
