Nike professional athlete Ronnie Baker, a 2012 graduate of Ballard High School in Louisville, Ky., returned to his alma mater Dec. 14 to take part in a “Give Back” event where he partnered with his sponsor to give 10 student-athletes new Nike gear. Baker was a two-time Gatorade Boys Track and Field state athlete of the year in Kentucky in 2011 and 2012, in addition to playing basketball at Ballard. He has won two NCAA Indoor titles and U.S. Indoor crown in the 60-meter dash, along with capturing a bronze medal at the IAAF World Indoor Championships.
